Delivery Service Conditions

  1. General

    1. The Customer is responsible for providing the exact    address for pick-up and delivery. Any change in address attracts extra charges, which shall be calculated based on the additional distance to be covered in kilometer (KM). 0 – 5KM. additional distance – N500; >5km to 10km additional distance; N1,000; >10KM additional distance: N2000.00.

    2. The customer is responsible for ensuring there will be a receiver at the delivery point. If there is no receiver, the customer will be charged the applicable for fee for delivery & return.

    3. We do not pick-up/deliver contrabands or anything illegal under the Nigerian law.

    4. We shall ensure we deliver all items in good condition, but it is Customer(s) responsibility to ensure the item(s) are properly packed and to indicate fragility where applicable for safe delivery of the goods.

  2. Requirements for collecting & delivering of packages:

    1. We accept packages which are properly packed for transportation and are not endangering other shipments. Where there is potential for spillage of a package, the customer should make this known at the point of booking the service. This will enable us to understand the content and advise appropriate means of transportation and the applicable cost for the service.

    2. The sender supplies packaging. The packaging and enclosement of goods should be done in such a way that it prevents damages to the goods during transit and handling. The fragility of a product must be declared upfront, for due care during handling.

    3. Packages shall be delivered at the address indicated by the sender, and the appropriate person whose details have been provided at the point of making a request. If for any reason, the authorized receiver is not available to receive the products, an alternative shall only be provided via a text message to either the OLIVE FAST TRACK SERVICE Rider (with the package) or the Customer Services officer. Change of delivery via phone call, must be backed up with a text message before delivery can be made.

    4. In the event of a change in address, the Customer would be required to pay the difference between the initial location and the new address.

    5. Return Delivery are delivered to sender after payment for both directions.

  3. Damages in Transit/Handling

    1. OLIVE FAST TRACK SERVICES LTD is committed to safe delivery of all packages. However, OLIVE FAST TRACK SERVICES LTD maintains limited material responsibility for goods which have not been fully or incorrectly executed in line with our service terms.

    2. For partial, fully damaged or lost goods, OLIVE FAST TRACK SERVICES LTD responsibility is limited to payment of N5000.00 (five thousand naira only) or 300% the cost of delivery, whichever is higher as compensation for damages or loss of parcel.

    3. OLIVE FAST TRACK SERVICES LTD is NOT responsible for;

      1. Damage or loss of goods during transit due to Force Majeure situations, which include but are not limited to riot, war, inter-communal clashes, Security invasion, flood, severe weather conditions, etc.

      2. Damage due to Sender’s failure to declare the fragility of the goods or improper packaging of the goods, wrongly stated content or caused by the nature of the content itself.

      3. Goods containing forbidden items or substances which because of this reason have been confiscated or destroyed by the official authorities and in the established order.

      4. Purely economic loss, including expenses for alternative transportation, loss of profit, loss of business opportunities or loss of income caused by loss of use due to loss, damage or delay delivery of goods.

    4. It is important to state that irrespective of the foregoing, OLIVE FAST TRACK SERVICES LTD is committed to safe and efficient delivery of goods inter and intra States (within and outside Lagos as may be applicable).

    5. All claims for damages MUST be made in writing within 48hrs after delivery to info@olivefasttrack.com.

  4. Payment:

    1. All payments are due upon confirmation of request for service delivery or as may be agreed. Bank transfer is preferred, but cash is also acceptable as need arises.
